In August 2020, Mingjie Group helped a client in Thailand upgraded their batch type plant into semi-continuous, because of low efficiency of the original plants. The original plant is bought from Korea. The client is processing waste plastics from Landfill. After upgrading, the pyrolysis plant has ability to realize auto feeding and auto carbon discharging, second feeding can be realized under high temperature, efficiency is highly improved. And the processing capacity is expanded from 5T/D to 10T/D at least. Pyrolysis Plant Installation is finished by Mingjie local service team. We are committed to provide high quality waste plastic pyrolysis plant, and set up long term business with the clients.

Semi-continuous Pyrolysis Plant
Semi-continuous waste plastic pyrolysis equipment is a new type of equipment specially designed for waste plastic treatment. It cleverly combines the advantages of batch and continuous pyrolysis equipment to form a unique working mode. Compared with batch pyrolysis plant, semi-continuous waste plastic pyrolysis plant has made bold innovations in feeding and discharging methods.

Different Feeding Methods Between Batch and Semi-continuous Pyrolysis Plant
Batch pyrolysis equipment usually uses a large furnace door for feeding. Each time feeding, production needs to be stopped and the furnace door needs to be closed and sealed before heating reaction can continue. This is not only time-consuming, but also the frequent opening and closing of the furnace door will cause heat loss and reduce energy efficiency.
Semi-continuous equipment changes the feeding method to spiral feeding. The pre-treated plastic particles are continuously fed into the pyrolysis furnace through a screw conveyor. This feeding method not only achieves the continuity of feeding, but also accurately controls the feeding speed and amount to ensure the stable progress of the pyrolysis reaction.
Different Discharge Methods Between Batch and Semi-continuous Pyrolysis Plant
In terms of discharge, batch equipment often needs to wait for the pyrolysis furnace to cool down to below 70°C before opening the furnace door to discharge slag. This process is not only time-consuming, but also causes a lot of heat waste during the cooling process.
The semi-continuous waste plastic pyrolysis equipment adopts a water-cooled spiral slag discharge system, which can directly discharge slag while the pyrolysis furnace maintains a high temperature of 200°C. The water-cooled spiral slag discharger uses the rotation of the spiral blade to push the slag forward. At the same time, the slag is cooled by the cooling water in the shell, which realizes the rapid cooling and discharge of the high-temperature slag. This automatic discharge method greatly improves production efficiency, reduces equipment downtime, and makes the entire pyrolysis process more efficient and smooth.
